Audi VW Dual Temp Sender Kit Includes:
This sender is mounted on the lower radiator hose on 2.8L 30 valve engines. The dual temp sender (a.k.a coolant temp sender) can control the temperature gauge, ECU fuel mixture and radiator fan engagement.
This sender is mounted on the cylinder head cross over coolant pipe on the back of the passenger side cylinder head on V6 12 valve and 2.7T 30 valve engines. The dual temp sender (a.k.a coolant temp sender) can control the temperature gauge, ECU fuel mixture and radiator fan engagement.
ATTENTION: Audi A4 4 Cylinder 1.8T models have qty 2 of the above temperature senders (a.k.a. sensors). One is located in the lower radiator hose and controls the hi/low on/off engagement of the radiator fan. The second sender is mounted to the back side of the cylinder head, this controls ECU fuel mixture and the temperature gauge. If your temp gauge is intermittent or has stopped working, fault code 18062 is usually stored and displays "Check DTC Memory of Instrument Cluster - Intermittent." In most cases replacing the temperature sender on the back side of the cylinder head corrects this problem.
- Qty 1 Green (replaces black) 4 Pin Oval Connector Sender
- Qty 1 Retaining Circlip
- Qty 1 Sealing O-ring
